When thinking about overall health and wellbeing we keep it simple but effective and use this wheel to align ourselves to what we are lacking in our wellbeing and how we can best support ourselves. We recommend using this as a guide to what classes you are wanting to attend each week!
Taking time to reflect and reconnect back to yourself with our Yin Yoga classes and Restorative Yoga classes. We understand the importance of connection, not only to yourself through having time to wind down with meditations and restorative practises, but also with community and nature. That is why we have free community meet ups so you can get to know the people next to you on your mat and meet like-minded people and become part of this wonderful community. We also have classes down on Bigbury Beach and SUP yoga in the ocean so you can feel a greater connection to nature and the world around you, alongside the added benefits of practising outside like vitamin D, fresh air and building proprioception.
When you don’t get enough sleep, it knocks you for six and you might benefit greater from one of our nourishing practises that would support a tired body and mind. These will also allow you to de-stress from your day, calm your nervous system and wind down ready for a great night’s sleep. Offering you no distractions, time away from your phone and television and the opportunity to truly rest. Sign up to Yin, Restorative Yoga or Yin Yang Flow classes.
We all know how important it is to move our bodies. We have evolved to move and when we get too stagnant our body start to ache and stiffen up. The best thing you can do is move in a way that feels good to you, a way that you enjoy and something that you look forward to each day rather than see as another thing on your to-do list. We have a vast collection of styles that will inspire you to get on your mat, so whether you have been stuck at a desk all day, spending hours driving or at a hands-on physical job, any of our yoga practises will allow you to feel that relief that your body is asking for. Our classes will mobilize the entire body to get rid of any aches or niggles, get your endorphins flowing and feeling lighter than air.
Sometimes as adults, life can get a bit serious and we forget the benefits of play and laughter: it helps to relieve stress, improves brain function and keeps you feeling young and energised. We have classes like Acro Yoga, Handstand drills, Arm Balance drills, and Rocket Yoga to really encourage your sense of play and challenge yourself to get upside down and find some funky shapes in a supported light-hearted environment.
